Clinic Partners

Collaboration and partnership are essential to quality care for moms and babies

We want you to have a seamless partnership with the UNC Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology and the NC Women’s Hospital. Please refer to the site often for guidance on policies and protocols as we continually add resources based on feedback from our community.

Public Health Maternity Coordination

The Public Health Maternity Coordinator helps clinics across North Carolina access the services in UNC Hospitals by assuring that clinics know how to initiate care, have their needs met and receive appropriate follow up information. The Coordinator champions information sharing and translating feedback into process changes.

 Maternal Transport Support

If you have a patient with a medical emergency who needs to be transported to the North Carolina Women’s Hospital, please call our toll free number at 1-800- 806-1968 or locally at (984) 974-4500. This service is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. This phone number will put you in contact with the UNC Patient Logistics Center who facilitates the transfer with the attending on Labor and Delivery at UNC Women’s Hospital.
