At the heart of our work are the pregnant women, babies and families we serve. The Collaborative focuses on helping women with high-risk pregnancies and families with medically fragile infants to navigate a complex health care system, working with them to make sure they are receiving the best care and support available.

Program Spotlight:
You Quit, Two Quit
Since 2008, CMIH has provided free training and technical assistance to support improved tobacco use screening and cessation counseling for reproductive-age women, including pregnant and postpartum women. This program provides essential services and support for health care providers caring for women, especially with the rise of vaping in NC, providing a solid return on investment for NC taxpayers.
