The 4th Trimester Project was featured in the Carolina Global Breastfeeding Institute newsletter, the Breastfeeding Exclusive, in December 2015.
CGBI’s Drs. Alison Stuebe, Miriam Labbok, and Kristin Tully were recently awarded a Patient-Centered Outcomes Research Institute (PCORI) Engagement Award in collaboration with project PI Dr. Sarah Verbiest of the UNC Chapel Hill Center for Maternal and Infant Health. Other partners are Dr. Ben Goodman of the Durham Connects program and Monica Simpson of Sister Song Women of Color Reproductive Justice Collective.
The goal of this two-year project is to bring together mothers, health care providers, and other stakeholders to define unmet health care needs during the 4th Trimester.
