The North Carolina Perinatal Health and Incarceration Project

Amplifying the health and wellbeing vulnerabilities of incarcerated women and their children

Guided by the NC Perinatal Health and Incarceration Workgroup, the purpose of this project is to improve the health outcomes of incarcerated pregnant and postpartum women and address the social, economic, and health conditions that lead to the incarceration of this population.
